Savings for an energy community
We work with energy suppliers to set a price for the energy generated by your project each year.
How does it work?
Every month you'll receive a credit applied to your electricity bill. The credit represents how much your share of the project has generated, multiplied by the savings rate. Savings rate = agreed energy price minus the operating cost of the project.

This price reflects the value of energy on the wholesale market. When the wholesale price of electricity is high, we agree on a higher price with suppliers and therefore members get greater savings. In the first year of generation, the savings rate was 9.5 €/kWh (agreed price for energy 11.5 /kWh - operating cost of the wind farm 2/kWh). The average member saved around €300. This year, the savings rate will be 27/kWh, which means that the average member should save around €950.22 Nobody knows what the price of electricity will be in the coming decades.
